Check out the parking lot from the final Cal Football Fundraiser of 2023! Big shoutout to Steven Wilson and Jessica Wilson (parents of Langston, Grade 2, and Tyler, Grade 6) who have coordinated this important fundraiser for many years. The PTA is looking for new leads for the 2023- 2024 Football season. We hope parents will step up to help us keep this tradition going. Please consider and reach out to the PTA if you are willing!

Underwater Scenes by TK
TK artists used different colors of paint to create beautiful painted papers. We cut out the papers into circles. We made an opening for the mouth and used the triangular piece we cut out as the tail. After gluing the fish into our ocean scene, we added eyeballs and seaweed. Great work, TK artists!

GIVING TUESDAY DRAWING FOR OAKLAND ZOO FAMILY PASS
We are thrilled to announce a special event to express our gratitude to our supportive community. We will be holding an online random drawing for a fantastic prize: a Family Pass for four to the Oakland Zoo! Here’s how you can participate: Every family that donates any amount to the Heart of Emerson on Giving Tuesday (11/28) will be automatically entered into this random drawing: https://emersonelementary.org/heart-of-emerson. The drawing will happen on Friday, December 1st and the winner will be notified. If you wish to be entered without donating, email fundraising@emersonelementary.org
Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity, falls on November 28th this year. It's a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support the enrichment programs and activities at Emerson that benefit our students. Please remember, your generous donations on Giving Tuesday not only give you a chance to win this prize but also make a difference in our school’s ability to provide educational enhancements such as art and PE classes for all students.
